Dog Park Rules and Regulations

Please familiarize yourselves with our rules and regulations.  Remember that all NYC Dog Parks are self-policed.  It is your responsibility as a dog park user to help enforce these rules.  ARF-ARF is not responsible for individuals and cannot mediate disputes.

• Owners are legally responsible for their dogs and any injuries caused by them.
•  All dogs must be properly licensed, inoculated, and healthy. 
• All dogs must wear a collar and ID tags at all times.
•  ABSOLUTELY NO prong or spike collars 
• No dogs without humans; no humans without dogs.
•  Please, no more than 3 dogs per person. 
• Puppies using the park must be at least four months old and fully vaccinated.
•  Owners must carry a leash at all times.  Unleash/releash your dog within the double entry gates.  Do not bring a leashed dog into the park. 
• Owners must immediately clean up after their dogs.
•  Dogs showing aggression towards people or other animals must immediately be removed from the park. 
• Animals who exhibit a history of aggressive behavior are not permitted.
•  Owners must never leave their dogs unattended or allowed out of sight. 
• Cooperation between dog owners is essential.
•  Dogs in heat are not allowed inside the park. 
• No food can be brought into the dog park for either dogs or people.
•  Children under 12 not permitted in dog park unless accompanied by parent or guardian. 
• Spaying or neutering your dog is strongly suggested.
